Day 85 - June 9, 2008
Today was a major travel day - from LaPine, OR (in the central mountains) to the coast to the city of Port Orford, OR. It was rainy and drizzling the whole way so it was good that it was a travel day. As usual, Frank handled the coach with his great expertise. When we arrived in Port Orford, we unhooked the car and I went ahead to check out the campground. Oh my goodness - this campground was like Rock Ridge Road times 10. Needless to say, we didn't stay but found another state park (Cape Blanco) which was much, much better. You just cannot beat these Oregon State Parks. They are one of the best kept secrets in the USA.
