Day 110 - July 4, 2008

Happy Fourth of July to everyone from Washington state.

Well, today I did the inexcusable - I forgot the camera. We headed over the Mt. St. Helen's and I do not have any pictures to share with you of this incredible site. Talk about a moonscape - it was awesome. We bought a disposable camera so we will be able to share the pictures in person. Our time at the visitor's center was fantastic. They had the very best film we have ever seen at any National Park. It graphically depicted the eruption and all the subsequent events. Then we hiked a 2.5 mile trail down to the river.

Tonight we plan to see the local fireworks.
